The more distinctions you have, the more astute you become, the more power you have to land your plane where you want to land it (in health, wealth, love and happiness) and the more fun life becomes

My weakest pillar is social. I have had the least amount of success there. So it seems that I am doubling my efforts in this area nowadays.

  • Learning distinctions from others is good… maybe.
  • Learning distinctions from movies is good… maybe.
  • But ultimately the way to learn a distinction is to use the frame through with you see what the frame says… and most people are just goddamn lazy… or superior… or can’t see.

So I am learning new distinctions in social interactions. It is the hardest thing I have ever done. Harder than mathematics… lol. Or figure drawing. Or even finding a diet that works for me.

When someone blows up at me, I don’t take it personally, like even just a month ago, I look at what need it serves for them.

The more distinctions I can look through, the more frames are available to me, in practicality, the more enjoyable my social interactions will become.See footnote 2

FOOTNOTES

  1. It is always the past that gets into your eyes… as one of the Peanuts said. Being right about your past, that you are a victim, that you were mistreated seems to excuse you from having a great life, from having to put out, earn a living, accomplish, etc.
  2. The same is true in business, the same is true in health…
